AcasA new health work and wellbeing guide is available, including information for help with people skills, employees feeling valued, health services, attendance culture, stress, having difficult conversations and managing conflict.
A tool to help businesses understand the impact of investing in employee health and wellbeing was launched 1st July. The initiative has been developed by Health Work Wellbeing in partnership with Business in the Community (BITC) and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. The tool will help employers quantify the costs of illness to their business and the financial benefits of wellness programmes. It will also help assess the business case for investing in employee wellness programmes, and lead to better, informed decision-making regarding wellness initiatives.

Well Being Workshops – SAMHAG (Sevenoaks & Area Mental Health Awareness Group)SAMHAG, a sub-group of
Sevenoaks Area Mind, delivers workshops on well-being with specific reference to mental health. The workshop has been tried, tested and evaluated over several years. The content includes factual information, participant involvement and talks from group members about their personal experiences, or of caring for someone with health problems. The workshops are particularly useful for anyone concerned with discrimination, increased absence or under achievement due to stress, anxiety or other forms of mental health conditions.
