Kent Mindful Employer Initiative
MINDFUL EMPLOYER is run in Kent by the
Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust, and managed by Creating Bridges.
We are following the initiative that started in Devon in 2004 and has led to successful employer networks and support for employers by employers around the issues of mental wellbeing, sickness and absence due to mental health issues, retention and recruitment.

Kent on Sunday have provided a generous opportunity for advertising campaigns and TV coverage.
Business Link Kent have provided opportunities for Creating Bridges to work with their Training Seminars on Absence and Attendance and Sustainability.
The Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health have kindly secured funding from the Big Lottery Fund to enable further development of MINDFUL EMPLOYER in the South East, and Kent’s initiative is being aided by this.
